CONEMRAD "Soldados del asfalto" (Soldiers of the Asphalt)
 This band of the Canary Islands published this album in 1987. They are several songs, of the 10 songs that were on this album, to highlight": "La laguna por Africa" (The lagoon for Africa) song with ska rhythm that makes reference to the problem of the immigration; "Mercenario"( Mercenary ); "Soldados del Asfalto" (Soldiers of the Asphalt) that became with the step of the years in an 'hymn'; and "Dios te salve Cerveza" (God saves you Beer) that also had certain diffusion. The only negative aspect is the song about the I.R.A. In summary, a classic of the Spanish Oi!

DIVISION 250 ”REVUELTA” ( Revolt)
For many people, one of the best works of Spanish bands. It was published by the comrades of Tuono Rec. A band with very good arrangements in the music and in their letters. Although this work is not as radical  the first album of the band, "Sangre de conquistadores" ( Blood of Conquerors) they continue in an Oi! musical style, and in 'Revuelta' we find true hymns like 'Furia inmortal' (Immortal Fury); 'Polvora y sangre' (Gunpowder and Blood, song dedicated Ramiro Ledesma) ''Contra el capital'' (against the capital); 'Alza la espada' ( Raise the Sword) and the very good song 'Revuelta' (Revolt).

DIVISION 250 " IMPERIVM "
Third album for this historical band that was founded 9 years ago. If ' Revuelta' supposed a distancing of the violent and direct letters of ' Sangre de Conquistadores' in ' Imperivm' the distancing is even bigger. And also in the musical style; against the ' general tendencies' in Spain toward more extreme sounds as Heavy metal, this album could be classified as Pop-rock, with many choirs. Quite well the production, as much in the sound as in the covers, with good graphics. The first two songs " Belgrade " and " Imperivm " allow to make you an idea of the general style of the disk, as all have a similar style: simple rhythms, but with very open sounds dominated by Manolo's voice, one of the few singers able to mix melody with the typical Oi! rhythms without losing force or becoming monotonous. The letters like as it is typical in our bands, among the epic poetry and critics to the system, although in this case there is an extra touch of " irony " and " sarcasm " a novelty for the quartet valenciano,  for example in ' Rock del policia' (Policeman Rock) and in ' Aznarakagar', although the ' burden' of this song seems more characteristic of a dirty garage-punk band that of a serious NR group. Apart from these songs they also have songs with structures of certain ska  influence, with advances of irresistible trumpets... and we should not  forget the atmosphere of acoustic rock that they produce with  the keyboard, the acoustic guitar and the choirs. Another song to highlight it is ' Rebelion in clase' (rebellion in the classroom) that speaks of the manipulation of the History that takes place in the schools of  Valencia, Cataluña , Vascongadas and all the places governed by the separatists. The 'cherry of the cake' is the optimistic version  (NO todo esta totalmente perdido...) of a real classic,' Es por tu nación' ( it is for your nation) of the unforgettable KLAN. In summary a disk that appeals to the heart more than to the " muscles ", using for that a more technical and  'talkative' style. Some  people said that they have lost force comparing it with her first disk, but it  is necessary to keep in mind that the laws and the people have changed since their first album was published...

ESTIRPE IMPERIAL "Disco de presentacion " & "Herederos de una historia." (Inheritors of a history)
Compilation album  of the first two works of Estirpe Imperial. This one is one of the best bands in Spain and in Europe, if we talk about musical quality. The great work of its guitars is noticed and also its vocalist's charisma. Their letters ,although they are not radical,  they are very well presented, and they are true jewels like 'Herederos de una historia' (Inheritors of a History); 'Sangre Española'  (Spanish blood)"; "La Vuelta del Cruzado"(the Crusader's Turn"); 'Creando problemas' (Creating problems); 'Morir o vencer' (to Die or to Conquer) and 'Es por ti' (it is for You.)

ESTIRPE IMPERIAL “HIMNOS DE GLORIA” (Hymns of Glory)
 Their third work-2º Cd, continuing their musical style of classic-heavy-metal with epic letters. The presentation of the album is really very good. They stand out the songs 'Recuerdos' (Memories), Spanish Bull Bollocks" (Instrumental); 'Hijos del trueno' (Son of the Thunder) and the covers 'Mentiras' (Lies) original of the band Batallón de castigo ( Punishment Battalion) and 'Nuevos soldados' (New Soldiers) original of the band Celtica.

ESTIRPE IMPERIAL “Seguimos vivos” (We are still alive)
After a long stage were they were speaks about their separation, Estirpe Imperial returns to the scene. In this album compounded  for 8 songs, there is a change of style regarding previous recordings. There are no longer songs of thematic epic poetry that  made them so famous neither there is the typical instrumental song that they used to include. Their musical style has also changed (but as it always maintains its quality), although the drums are made with computer... , in their new album their music looks more like the music of the band 'Celtica'  than to that  E.I has been making up to now, and the same thing with the letters. We can highlight the songs: 'Rojo y oro' (Red and gold) the best of this album with no doubt; 'Seguimos vivos' ( we are still alive); 'Hacia la revolución' ( Toward the Revolution) and 'Esta es mi patria' (This is My Homeland)" In short, an album of which you cannot discuss their musical quality in the voice and guitars, but maybe the people that prefer more styles like classic Oi! or 'heavy metal' will not like very much this album.

PRIMERA LINEA: ESPAÑA DESPIERTA YA! (Spain, wake up now!)
After recording the demo 'Somos la clase obrera' (we are the Working Class) the band from Sevilla, Primera Linea, debuted in 1996 with this 'España, ¡Despierta ya!' (Spain Already wake up!) !. Their style is a  mixture of rock and Oi! with  influences of the band 'Decibelios'. They stand out the songs 'Odiados y orgullosos' (Hated and Proud), 'Clase obrera' (working Class), 'Revolución' (Revolution), 'Camarada' (Comrade) and the cover of Cock sparrer 'Quieren joder mi pais' (they want to fuck my country). The thematic of their letters includes  skinhead topics, patriotic and  football song 'Con la selección (supporting the national team) or inspired in ' The Clockwork Orange'  Conductor suicida' (Suicidal driver). The band was not very happy with the edition an mastering of the sound that was carried out in study that subtracts some force to the songs.

SONIDO ANTI SISTEMA.
A compilation album of three bands :'Legión Negra'(Black Legion), 'Rebelión' (Rebellion), and 'Seccion de Asalto' (Assault Section).
Very good work of these three bands of Valencia that belong to the F.A.S. ( Anti System Front). The sound of these three bands goes from the classic Oi!  to the HardCore. Many songs  remind to the band 'Division 250'. One of the bands that more I like it was Black Legion with stupendous themes as 'Legión negra' (Black Legion), 'Caiga quien caiga' (Fall Who Falls) and 'banqueros usureros' (Usurers bankers) a cover of 'Peggior Ammico' (Italy). Of  'Sección de asalto'   their best song in the album  is 'Ragnarök'; while 'Rebelion' shows its force with 'Nuestra tierra' (Our land). In summary, an album with a high quality sound.

TORQUEMADA 1488  “A DEGÜELLO"
First Cd of this band of Barcelona. Their great force was already noticed in their demo 'Gradas de gloria' (terraces of glory) , his sound is very near to  TrashCore and the force of its guitars is noticed and of course of its vocalist, although they still have to refine their technique. This is the band with more live concerts out of Spain, they have played in  Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy and also in Valencia with  Endstufe. But returning to the disk, the best tracks are 'guerrero skinhead' (Skinhead warrior),' España' (Spain), and 'Tribus urbanas' (Urban Tribes).

BATALLON DE CASTIGO "¡Caña de España!"
After publishing several demos, the last of them "Blood & Honor", and having several concerts in the jail; we receive their first work in CD. Batallón de Castigo is a band formed in the prision of Alcalá de Henares, near Madrid, they practice a  sound near to the extreme metal (Death metal, Thrash, etc.), with  influences of groups like Slayer and Venom. Very radical letters and a strong and aggressive sound. One of the best works in Spain. Among the best tracks  they are 'En el cuello' (In the Neck), 'Ejecución' (Execution), 'Democracia' (Democracy),' Orgullo nacional' (National Pride), 'Sangre y honor' (Blood & Honor) and an excellent song 'Mentiras' ( Lies ) the best in the disk

BATALLON DE CASTIGO " ¡Desperta Ferro! "
 New work of this group of extreme music with committed letters. One can observe that having gone by the study  has given them maturity to improve the sound of their first CD ,coming closer to what they denominate 'battalion sound'. Eleven songs compose their second study work that  make us be impatient waiting their new recording. The title comes from the scream of war from the 'Almogavares' when rushing to the combat, that leaves  the pretences of the band, eleven discharges of
' thrash/death ' metal, with some songs with  more rocker touches. If we have to highlight some songs they would be: 'Entre rejas' (Among grilles), 'Revolución' (Revolution), 'Reinserción', 'Véncelos' (Conquer them) and ¡Al arma! (Take the weapon!) (based on the version that made Malabestia of this traditional Italian song of the 20 years ). For us a very good CD that won't leave you impassive.

BRIGADA NS  "O  retorno da Velha Ordem."
First CD of this band of San Paulo's city (Brazil). They practice White Power Rock, with very good sound and very well elaborated lyrics. Among the songs of this album we can highlight 'Fé Hitlerista', 'Revolução Branca' and the best of all 'Peste negra' (Black Pest)

CELTICA “CELTICA” (presentation album)
The label Rata - ta - ta - ta...  continue publishing CD's of Spanish bands. After Batallón de Castigo, Torquemada1488 and Estirpe  Imperial, arrives the CD of this excellent band  that counts in its lines with several members of Estirpe Imperial The sound of this band, is excellent and it is noticed the influences of Estirpe Imperial. But notice! Celtica,  has an own and original sound. Their music is ' folk - metal' with the intervention of Celtic sounds and instruments like the bagpipe that maybe surprises those that are accustomed to the Oi! style and to more aggressive styles. They are well elaborated and intelligent lyrics, they have very good tracks like  'Seguimos luchando' (We Continue Fighting), 'Banderas de guerra'. (Flags of War), 'A los caidos' (TO the deads), 'No voy a cambiar' (I won't Change) and 'Dioses de España' (Gods of Spain)

RECONQUISTA "Almas Ardiendo"
First album after their demo ' En acción'. recorded in CD by the own band offer us 12 songs of RAC - Oi! with light touches of punk and even metal. The lyrics are the strong point of this band, some are incendiary and  ' politically incorrect', other correct and intelligent and other typical of a skinhead ban. The best topics they can be 'Almas ardiendo' (burning souls) whose lyric is extracted of the homonymous book of León Degrelle;  'Ataque a la sindical' (attack to the syndicate); ' Antisistema'; ' Asturias'; 'Reconquista' (reconquer) ,version of ' Lack und leader' of the Böshe Onkelz, ' Europa'... their sound has improved enough regarding to his demo, but  they still have to polish certain details such as the voice that without lacking force neither power sometimes doesn't arrive to the required tones. In the other side we have to mention that the recording, spite of having been carried out in study it doesn't have to much quality, because for example the guitar sounds quite dirty and saturated, which is a pain because subtracts quality to the final result.. Anyway this is not obstacle so that we all support this Spanish group that demonstrates a desires, initiative and enthusiasm that we wait that they ill give their fruits in a not very distant future

RECONQUISTA "¡ Revolución !"
Second  work of this Asturian band, this recorded in a professional way and of quite bigger quality that their first CD, the sound of the instruments it is 'clear' and the voice this ' more worked'. Ten topics of RAC with Oi! touches . We can point up  'Ojo rojo... ¡que te cojo!'( take care red... that I catch you!) nice song with ska touches; 'Almas Ardiendo', that as 'Asturias' y 'Antisistema'  already came out in its previous CD; ' Revolución';  'El Último conquistador' (the last conqueror) or 'Ataque frontal' (frontal attack)... This album has been produced by themselves and registered in the SGAE, reason why their songs  have not been able to be so ' explicit' like those of their first Cd.

RECONQUISTA "Nuevo Milenio" (New Millenium)
This albums has a sound that we could define like more 'professional' than their previous works, as in the booklet as in the music, with clean sounds of voice and guitar, choirs, effects, echoes and a force that is present in all the songs. In total there are 10 songs with a bonus track which lyrics is quite 'incorrect'... Between them there are some songs of their previous albums that have been recorded again. We highlight the songs  'España', 'Orgulloso' (proud) song of fast Oi! rythm ; 'Reconquista', 'Palacios de Cristal' (palaces of glass), 'Mujer Española' (Spanish women) and 'Poder Blanco' (white power), although we like more the rhythm of the previous version of this song. In resume a good work, as much in the production as in the lyrics.

ODAL SIEG - Demo 'Dagas triunfantes' + 'Demo Rehearsal'
From Chile we receive these two recordings of a young band formed in April of 1999. Their style is purely Heavy / Death metal, similar to the style of Batallón de Castigo, although some songs have a touch of ' White Rock' similar to the Bully boys. A deep voice in charge of Rodrigo, like it is indispensable in this type of style, and  songs based on simple rhythms but cared and letters 'explicit lyrics'. Their demo ' Dagas Triunfantes' (triumphant daggers) was recorded in "4 hints" and it includes 6 songs extracted of its ' Rehearsal-demo', this demo was without using multipist, what subtracts them a little bit of quality in the sound. Of this 2 records we can highlight the following songs: 'El Klan' (The Klan) a song similar to the style of the ' southern rock ' like the Klansman; 'Waffen SS' a very good song that if its spread can end up being a new "hymn";  'Minorias' (minorities) song that makes reference to the problem that there is in Chile with the Peruvian immigration; 'Presente futuro y final' (Present, Future and final) of which they have two versions; and 'Sangre Chilena' (Chilean blood) modified cover of 'Royal bleed' of Estirpe Imperial.

KRASNY BOR 1943 Vista, suerte y al rojo!
(View, luck and to the Red one)
Premiere Cd of this young band recorded in study and distributed directly by the band which practices a Oi! style quite promising, with simple rhythms and 'explicit' letters  explicit' without mufflers neither censorships. Among the 7 songs that compose this Cd they are necessary to highlight the following ones: Krasny Bor 1943", a very good one ' ballad' dedicated to the Blue Divisiòn that fought in Russia against communism; 'Joven problematico' (Problematic young person); 'Triunfar o morir' (to Triumph or to Die) and 'Skinheads España' (Skinheads Spain)
The price of this Cd (+ shipping and handling in both cases) for Spain  is of 1500 pesetas; for the rest of the world they are 8 (more or less) USA $$.

7 MUELLES “¡No te cortes!” (don't cut you!)
This is the first work of the band from Madrid that takes their name of the traditional Spanish clasp-knife 7 jetties, which makes a sinister noise when it opens up. In this band you will find Eduardo, of Batallón de Castigo in  the guitar and Ramiro, singer of Estirpe Imperial. So somehow ,the sound of 7 Muelles is a mixture of BdC and E.I what gives you a good idea of its musical quality. Their sound can be defined like Metal, not as aggressive as that of BdC but certainly harder that the classic style of E.I. Very well sung the songs, as well as the sound of the guitars that in some moments they remind to the structures of Iron Maiden; a little slack the sound of the battery (keeping in mind the music style of which we speak); the letters are the typical of the Spanish bands, with a special reference to the topic of the Death, for example in a new version of  'Mentiras' (lies) , or the instrumental song (that never fails being somebody of Estirpe Imperial inside) 'La muerte cabalga por Sierra Morena' (The Death rides for Sierra Morena), and of course references to the Hispanic pride in 'Hoy como ayer' (Today like yesterda) with the characteristic epic style. In total eight songs, they had prepared one song more, but it would not have overcome the censor filter of the law , surely for this reason the discography  decided not to include it...

TOLETUM “Un Nuevo orden para la vieja Europa”
(A New Order for the Old Europe)
After a long wait it has finally been published the first album of Toletum. This Cd  began to be record at the end of 1999, but they were not very happy with the sound of some songs, so they decided 'rerord' them, and after multiple problems they have finally been able to go again into the record study. Of the 10 songs of RAC and Oi! style that are included the album they are necessary to highlight '69-99 Oi!!' that talks about the 30 years of life of the skinhead movement; 'Todos unidos' (All united ); 'Buscando victoria', (Looking for victory ); 'Toletum' dedicated to their city and 'Division azul' (Blue Division) that it is a modified cover of the song ' Primavera' of the Blue Division. If we compare these songs with recordings of concerts of the band we can appreciate that  some of the songs that figure in the Cd are played slower as they play them in live, and that they have 'less force', as for example ' 69-99 Oi!! '.

PATRIA "Acción Obrera Skinhead"
(Working Class Skinheads Action)
After publishing the demo ' La voz of España' (the voice of spain), Patria, the band coming from Catalonia, offers us this splendid  work that has been self recorded by the band.
The musical style of their songs mix the Oi! with what you could be classified as Hardcore, in a style that  remembers a lot to that of Legion Negra of the SAS. The lyrics of the songs are direct, but without falling in '  gratuitious violence', and are enough worked, their thematic is skinheads topics, pagans or antisistem. Of the 10 songs that compose the album we can higlight Madre Tierra' (Mother earth), the best song of the album to our view next to 'Bandera sagrada' (Sacred Flag) , song dedicated to the swastika; 'Soldados patriotas' (patriotic soldiers); 'Sangre y Honor' (blood & honour) ' Skinhead Europa' and 'Lucha por tu Libertad'  (Fight for your freedom)

ODAL "Hecho en España" (Made in Spain)
From Madrid comes this new band with his first Cd, after publishing a demo with the name of  'Amanecer' (dawn), we have to highlight the quality of the inside cover. His musical style could be defined as Oi! with metal touches, but without being extremely fast. Of the 9 songs of the album we can highlight 'Combate' (combat), 'Skinheads', 'Sangre y furia' (blood and fury) and 'Haz deporte' (make sport). In our opinion they should improve the voice, as it lose intensity in some parts

ESTANDARTE 88 "Lealtad" (Loyalty)
Debut album for this band of Barcelona, with a good production and booklet. There are 10 songs with a clear and hard RAC style, where they include 3 covers of the bands Legion 88, Brigada Ns and No Remorse, the cover of this last ones is called  'Barbacoa en Tarrasa' , adaptation of their classic 'Barbecue in Rostock' but with a humor touch. Of the rest of songs we could highlight 'Heroica Invicta', 'División Azul' and 'Lealtad'.

HERMANOS BLANCOS "Lista Negra" (Black List)
After publishing a demo called '¡88!' where we can hardly listen the guitar, comes the first album of this band from Barcelona published in Cd and recorded with better ways. Their style could be defined as RAC with Oi! burdens and many rimes in the lyrics. There are 8 songs in the album, between them we can highlight 'Hermanos blancos' (White Brothers); 'Bombas y más bombas' (bombs and more bombs) song against terrorism; and 'El guardian'. Other lyrics are explicit, like 'Lista Negra' u 'Odio', although in our opinion one thing is to make 'incorrect' lyrics and other make songs like 'Pegale un tiro' (give him a shot) that is pure nonsense and gratuitous violence that do not contribute with anything positive, neither are useful to convince nobody, neither their are congenial with the NS ideas.

HISPANIA "Directo Contra La O.T.A.N"
In this album we could find the 14 songs of the concert against the N.A.T.O of the 8 of May of 1999, in support of Yugoslavia, for the youths of the political party Democracia Nacional. Most of them are played as ballads, as they do not have all the necessary instruments and instrumentalists, although they have the 'rhythmical' support of the audience. The style of this band is a mix of Rock and Folk, similar to the style of Celtica, although as it's a live recording and they didn't have all the musicians they had to play the songs with a slow rhythm, so we don't know if in studio they give other rhythm to their songs. Some of the songs of the album are covers of  Division 250, like 'Revuelta', 'Belgrado', 'Alza la Espada'... 6 in total, not in vain Hispania, except the singer, have the same members as Division 250; other covers are of Klan ' Es por tu nación',  La Compagnia dell' Anello and Skrewdriver, and the rest of songs are original of Hispania, among this we highlight 'Mi Generación' and the instrumental  'Solsticio en Artaj'.

DEPRESIÓN (and the Suedeheads) "Aqui Empezo Todo"
This band of Madrid plays without doubts pure 'street punk', with incorrect lyrics although they are not are related directly with the politic. This is their first demo and as it's recorded in studio has a good sound, with choirs and alternations in the voices that produce a good effect. Of the 6 songs of the cd our personal preferences go to 'Depresión'; 'Sexo y Alcohol' a little bit depraved cover of 'Un amour perou' of the Evil Skins;  'Sucio Kaos' and 'Asociacion Cultural de Amigos del Bate'.

SANGRE Y ORO "Al Filo de la Cuchilla"( At the edge of the Blade)
  The first thing that star you of this album of the band formed by the singer of Estirpe Imperial and two members of Patria is the cover and the booklet  where photos of the band appear in a  yellow-green colors that , there are some erratum, and some lyrics are difficult to read due to the fact that are in black with a dark green background.
But these are just 'external' details, now we go with the contents: the band define his style as 'national urban rock' so we are not going to contradict them; the musical quality of the band Patria remains in these group, with clear sounds, good melodies, conjunction of fast and slow rhythms, all this combined with the voice of Ramiro from Estripe Imperial produce a very good result. Of the 9 songs of the album we highlight 'El camino del Guerrero' ( The way of the Warrior); 'En el Lado Oscuro' (In the Dark Side); '¿Libertad?' (Freedom) which sound could be classified as Trash Metal, in contrast with 'Rock Urbano Nacional' (National Urban Rock) that is a lightest classic rock; and 'Noches en la Gran Ciudad' (Nights in the Big City) that tend to melodic rock. So, in our opinion is an interesting album, but as there is nothing written about tastes there where be always a stubborn fanatic of the Oi! rhythms
that would dislike this work :-) 

Konkwista 88 - Nacidos para la gloria 

This is the newest album of Konkwista 88. It consist well known songs of K88 like Legion ( Waffen SS ) or European Song of Glory. Album conists of 9 songs.
Many people can wonder why the tilte of this album is in spanish. It’s that, because all songs are sang by Ramiro – vocalist of Estirpe Imperial. Lyrics very well adapted to spanish language, all songs are nice to hear, musically very good, sounds are loud and clear. It is pure NS rock, not too heavy, more close to old Konkwista productions than to the for example “Break the chains” CD. Duration of this CD is 38’04. For me too short, but it’s worth to buy.

You won’t be bored when listening this material. For me great album which i recommend to you. All songs are rather fast, there is no ballads on this CD.

Advenages: very interseting album, technically very good, amazing vocals, good mixed CD Disadventages : only 9 songs, should be some more.

EINSATZ KOMMANDO "The Forest Call" / HALLSTATT "Battles For The Ancestral Lands"
For a release that is exclusively Spaniard, this one did battle quite fiercely, being apt to compete with Poland for this matter. This is Heathen Black (or so) with BM sonority. Of course, we are dealing with REALLY fit NSBM and this is a quality product. Einsatz Kommando´s "Forest Call" delivers 4 tracks inspired in the pagan quest for the "erwache" of a White Europa, with incursion of random synth work just to create specific atmosphere and inspired-folk sections with background samples of old time: "White Power", "The Forest Call", "Revenge" and "The Right Moment". I like the vocals, they are not the typical BM high-pitched ones, hard to describe. As for the other half of the split, despite being a just one man band, Hallstatt doesn´t prove to be less efficient or dull contriving. As a matter of fact, I think he has achieved some balance working like this. This man, Cosus, belongs to an organization in Spain called the Celtiberian Heathen Front, which is dedicated to summoning the spirit of ancient
Pre-christian Spain. "Battles for the Ancestral lands" is shaped like raw BM and composed by 4
tracks + intro & an outro.  The production here is more primitive and crispy, but I would say it fits this to the brim of the bloody chalice.

We don't use to comment discs of non spanish tongue bands, but attending to a request we will comment this album.
From Depths is a Ns Italian Black Metal band with lyrics in english and adds some phrases in latin in the songs. As counterview to a grave voice, usual in this musical style, but without just being guttural sounds, they include a female voice in some songs. If we talk about the music we could say that is a clear sound that combine guitars with keyboards, but the keyboard do not outshine the other nstruments, mixing slow and melodic fragments with faster pieces, all that combined with choirs were the different members of the band, and the female voice sing alternatively. Of the 12 songs included in the Cd we can highlight the following ones  "Ancestral", "De profundis clamavi", "A vision" and "The black riding over the silent storm"
